In 2013, I filmed, edited, and co-produced a documentary for MTS Stories From Home. Our topic was featuring local sculptor Peter Sawatzky. The 7 minute documentary was produced over the span of four months. To date, it’s still one of the projects I’m most proud of.
This was one of the first videos I produced working for Farmery Brewery. With three different people filming the event, myself included, my challenge was to take all the footage (Canon T2i, Nikon D5100, and a Black Magic Cam), colour correct it, sequence it and throw in our graphics.
I reported on this video for my Broadcast Journalism class. It was during our class’s all-star news cast rotation, and it was shot by videographer and classmate, Holly Beraro. We found the story around 10 a.m. and we shot all our b-roll, interviews and cut it by 3 p.m.

This a video a did for a friend who put on a concert at Doubles Fun Club. Since I was alone, the biggest challenge I had while filming was making sure I caught everything that was going on during the show. I was able to grab enough footage to put together this 5-minute montage of the concert.
This was an assignment I did for Television Production class in my first year. I tried to experiment with jump cuts while learning to edit to music.
This was another assignment, this time for second year Television Production class. Our task was to shoot a sequence and focus on continuity editing. This is our final product.
